I Regional Fair of Circular Economy in the Canary Islands

The conference, which will take place in the Parque Tecnológico del Norte, aims to promote the circular economy in the Canary Islands and encourage entrepreneurship.

The Parque Tecnológico del Norte hosts on Thursday, November 24, the celebration of the 1st Canary Islands Circular Economy Fair, an event organized by the Commonwealth of the North of Gran Canaria, with the collaboration of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). , the Canarian Agency for Research, Innovation and the Information Society of the Government of the Canary Islands, the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union (FEDER), the Insular Energy Council of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the Gran Canaria Technology Park, the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands (ITC), the Society for Economic Promotion of Gran Canaria (SPEGC) and Cajasiete.

The I Canary Islands Circular Economy Fair was born with the intention of promoting the creation of bridges between economic and social agents, the scientific community and public administrations, in order to share awareness and dissemination actions that generate economic alliances that can be beneficial for the northern region, the island of Gran Canaria and, therefore, for the entire Canary Islands.

The ISLANDAP ADVANCED project will have a stand where the good practices developed will be disseminated and the Circular Economy Network on Islands (RED RECIS) will be presented to the different social actors.
