The Government of the Canary Islands, PLOCAN and Forward organized this hybrid event (face-to-face/online) where a series of projects based on knowledge, technology and disruptive processes were presented. The activities took place on April 28 and 29 from Los Cancajos, La Palma. The objective of this event was to create new business opportunities and favor the creation of employment in the Macaronesia region, where the Canary Islands are located under the protection of the blue economy.
The conference was divided into two blocks, in the first of which success stories, ongoing actions and good practices for scaling companies were presented, where the researcher Lidia Robaina presented the ISLANDAP ADVANCED project. In the second part, financing opportunities for specific initiatives that can be framed in open or upcoming calls, both national and European, were addressed.
