The researchers of the economics group of the ISLANDAP ADVANCED project, Dr Carmen Florido and Dr Marta Jacob, have participated in the VII International Management Forum. Recovery, Uncertainty and Digital Transformation, held in Madeira from 23 to 24 January 2023.
In the framework of this forum they have presented the papers “Circular practices implemented by the hotel industry in two mature island destinations. The case of Gran Canaria and Madeira” and “Differences in the implementation of circular practices between urban hotels and sun and beach hotels”.
They also took the opportunity to promote the activities of the Network of Circular Economy in Islands (RED RECIS) among those attending the event.
