This event was organized by the Commonwealth of Northern Gran Canaria Town Halls, with the cooperation of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Canarian Agency for Research, Innovation and the Information Society, the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union ( FEDER), the Island Council of Energy of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the Technological Park of Gran Canaria, the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands (ITC), the Society for the Economic Promotion of Gran Canaria (SPEGC), the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) and Cajasiete.<\/p>\n<p>During the fair, the different activities and developments achieved by the ISLANDAP ADVANCED project were disseminated and promoted, involving the public in the importance of the transition towards the circular economy, which represents a challenge for the whole of society, since it affects all sectors. productive and to most aspects of citizens&#8217; lives.
